Reports claim that Paris Saint-Germain has “selected” the ideal Kylian Mbappe replacement, as the player is rumored to be interested in both Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Since Mbappe’s current PSG contract is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, his future is now uncertain.

It seems sense that PSG is desperate to hold onto Mbappe into the summer, and earlier this month, rumors circulated that they had given him a “astronomical offer” in exchange for a new deal.

In spite of this, he has recently been strongly linked to Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Even though the La Liga powerhouses have long been thought to be his most likely future stop, speculation over a possible transfer to Anfield isn’t going away.

Even though it seems doubtful that Liverpool will recruit Mbappe—especially in light of Jurgen Klopp’s planned departure—the fact that PSG is rumored to be searching for Mbappe’s replacement could help the Premier League’s biggest teams.

Fichajes, a Spanish powerhouse, claims AC Milan outstanding PSG has decided that Rafael Leao should take Mbappe’s place.

PSG reportedly “considers Mbappe lost at the end of the season and are already thinking about possible short-term replacements.”

Leao’s contract includes a £150 mKylian Mbappe - Soccer News, Rumors, & Updates | FOX Sportsillion release clause.

According to reports, PSG has a “clear interest” in the Portugal international and has “placed him at the top of their list of targets.”

Over the last several seasons in Serie A, the 24-year-old has been among the league’s most impressive players.

In his 26 appearances in all competitions this season, he has six goals and six assists.

Additionally, Leao is connected to Premier League teams.

Although Newcastle is allegedly “targeting” him, the midfielder is “open to the idea of listening” to PSG, according to French publication Telefot.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has noted that PSG’s “appreciation” of Leao is “normal.”

Romano said to Caught Offside, “I’m aware there have been some links with Rafael Leao and PSG.”

It is appropriate to show appreciation for Leao, as he was one of the fantastic buys made by director Luis Campos at Lille. However, plans for PSG’s summer campaign will be decided in the coming months.

It’s too soon to say what they will do; a lot will depend on how this season plays out as well as the circumstances surrounding Kylian Mbappe.

Regarding Klopp, Romano continued, “A lot of people at the club and in the industry were not expecting this announcement.

This was completely unexpected.”

Even so, it’s not easy.

Klopp has made the decision to go, is free to choose his next course of action, and hasn’t signed a contract with any other team.
