Nashville — Another day, another coaching change for the Tennessee Titans. A source revealed to AllTitans.com that Brian Callahan has hired Tyke Tolbert as wide receivers coach. Tolbert joins new Titans coach Brian Callahan’s first staff after serving as receivers coach and passing game coordinator for the Chicago Bears the previous two seasons. Tolbert is Callahan’s second hire this week. On Wednesday, Callahan hired Dennard Wilson, who coached defensive backs for the Baltimore Ravens in 2023, as the Titans’ defensive coordinator.

Titans reportedly to hire Wilson as new DC

Tolbert will have some responsibilities with the Titans. Tennessee’s passing attack finished in the worst third of the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus. DeAndre Hopkins, a three-time All-Pro, recorded 75 receptions. No other wide receiver scored more than 28. Following offensive tackle, wide receiver is a high-priority need that the Titans may address through free agency and/or the NFL Draft. Tolbert, 56, has 20 years of experience training with top NFL receivers. Anquan Boldin, Lee Evans, and Demaryius Thomas all prospered under Tolbert’s guidance. D.J. Moore had his best season with the Bears this year, and Wilson was his position coach.
