Despite the lackluster performance of some of the transfer receivers Coach Freeze brought in, Auburn will have a wealth of talented pass catchers entering the team in the 2024 recruiting class who will make a significant impact, despite their youth.

One of the team’s older players is tight end Rivaldo Fairweather, who had a fantastic season the previous year, with 38 receptions for 394 yards and six touchdowns.

Rivaldo Fairweather, Auburn, Tight End

The 6’4 251, 251-pound tight end will look to add a lot to his totals this season.During his appearance on the Locked On Auburn Podcast, Auburn quarterback Hank Brown answered questions on Fairweather’s catch radius.

Brown said, “It’s great. It’s fantastic. Of course, you have everything it takes to be a great quarterback—guys around you who can support you in that endeavor.

Rivaldo is as good as they come, as you said. He is an extremely unique player. Of course, that video showed it.

We’re just working to bring it all together and get this offense to a place where we can make the most use of those guys, which is terrific to have.

“Hopefully, the new coaching staff at Auburn will be able to assemble a more potent offense than the one we witnessed the previous season with the aid of all these new pass catchers in the scheme.

The pass catchers this season are far better than they were last year, especially with all of the talent that has been added to the receiver and tight end room.
