Ohio’s Cleveland — According to a league source who spoke with Cleveland.com, the Browns agreed to terms with former Bears running back D’Onte Foreman on Wednesday, continuing to bolster their run game.
In nine games during the previous season, Foreman—who turns 28 next month—rushed for 429 yards and four touchdowns for the Bears.
joins a group that includes Nick Chubb, who is recovering from a horrific knee injury sustained in the Browns’ Week 2 loss in Pittsburgh, as well as returning runners Pierre Strong Jr. and Jerome Ford.

Texans chose Foreman in the third round of the 2017 draft, and he began his career in Houston with Deshaun Watson.
After rupturing his Achilles during his rookie season, he appeared in just 11 games across his two seasons with the Texans. In Week 16 of 2018, he made a comeback to the field and participated in one game, which included the Texans’ wild card defeat to Indianapolis.
The next offseason, the Texans let go of Foreman.
Following his August waiver by the Colts due to a torn biceps, he missed the entire 2019 season.
He went on to play in parts of two seasons with the Titans and one with Carolina, where he gained 1,575 yards of total rushes across 32 games, including 914 yards with the Panthers in 2022.
