According to local authorities, two sports cars collided on Saturday as they were driving on a Dallas highway, injuring four persons just slightly.

Rashee Rice, a wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, has stated that he accepts “full responsibility” for his involvement in an automobile accident that resulted in four minor injuries.

Six automobiles were engaged in a chain-reaction incident involving two autos on a Dallas freeway on Saturday.

The Lamborghini SUV that the 23-year-old American football player was leasing collided with a Corvette on North Central Expressway, according to authorities, because it was speeding.

The drivers of the Lamborghini and Corvette departed the scene without exchanging information or determining whether anybody required medical assistance, according to the police.

I fully accept responsibility for my involvement in this, and I’ll keep helping the appropriate authorities.

I genuinely apologize to everyone who was affected by the disaster on Saturday.”

Investigators have communicated with Rice and his attorneys, according to Dallas police spokesperson Kristin Lowman, who spoke with NBC News.

She said that witnesses and victims are still being interrogated as part of the continuing inquiry.

“I’ll continue to assist the relevant authorities, and I take full responsibility for my role in this.

I sincerely apologize to everyone who was impacted by Saturday’s incident.”

A spokesman for the Dallas police, Kristin Lowman, told NBC News that investigators had spoken with Rice’s lawyers.

She noted that as part of the ongoing investigation, witnesses and victims are still being questioned.

Rice was renting the Lamborghini, according to Kyle Coker, an attorney for The Classic Lifestyle, a Dallas-based exotic automobile rental firm.

Rice would have been the only driver permitted by the conditions of the lease on the car, which is worth around $250,000 (£197,000) and leases for roughly $1,750 (£1,400) each day.
